Friday, June 24, 2022 - The U.S. Supreme Court officially reversed Roe v. Wade on Friday, declaring that the constitutional right to abortion  no longer exists.  Many of us never thought we would see this day.  Thank you for all of your years of prayer and dedication to the pro-life cause.

Providentially this decision occurred on the Solemn Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Let us give thanks to God and continue to pray for unity and general increase in our nation's understanding in the gift of all human life.

Protest Warning:  Advice from the Diocese.

Please be on guard this weekend as there are calls for a "Night of Rage" across the country.  Catholic Mutual has sent out the following recommendations.
  1. Try not to engage with the protestors.
  2. Work with local law enforcement and follow their recommendations.  They can also help manage the event.  Police are the only ones with legal authority to deal with these protestors.  They can assist by keeping protestors off of church property and making sure the protest remains peaceful.
  3. If media shows up, make no comment or consider designating one person from the church to be authorized to talk with the media.
  4. Please make your staff and volunteers aware of this fluid situation involving potential protesting at your church.
